HDWebmobile Socials Floating
The floating social buttons WordPress plugin that knows when you’re open — set weekly business hours to automatically dim or hide direct-contact icons like WhatsApp and Messenger outside working hours.

Overview
HDWebMobile Socials Floating adds floating social buttons to WordPress with a sleek, glassmorphic design — but it’s the only floating social bar built with a smart Business Hours feature. Define your weekly open/close times in your own timezone, and outside of those hours your direct-contact buttons (WhatsApp, Messenger, Phone, etc.) can automatically dim, switch to a “Closed” badge, or disappear completely, so you’re never woken up by a 2 AM message request. The plugin also auto-generates deep links for WhatsApp, Zalo, Telegram, and Messenger, so a tap drops the visitor straight into a chat with you — no manual wa.me or t.me links to build yourself.
For freelancers, agencies, and small teams without 24/7 support staff, this single feature turns a simple floating social buttons WordPress setup into a real boundary-setting tool — you stay reachable during the hours you actually choose, and quietly unavailable the rest of the time, without touching a single line of code.
Key Features
- Smart Business Hours: configure weekly open/close times in your own timezone
- Offline states: dim, badge (“Closed”), or hide specific icons automatically outside working hours
- Display up to 11 popular social networks including WhatsApp, Telegram, Facebook, X (Twitter), Instagram, LinkedIn, and more
- Drag-and-drop ordering to sort icons exactly how you want them
- Premium glassmorphism design with smooth hover animations
- 8 screen positions to choose from (Left Center, Top Right, Bottom Center, and more)
- Automatic deep-link generation for Messenger, Telegram, WhatsApp, Zalo, and mobile numbers
- Configurable floating background color
- Add your own custom SVG icon and link for any network not built in
Limitations
Please read before installing:
- Business Hours only changes how an icon looks and behaves on your own site — it doesn’t intercept or delay the underlying app, so a visitor who already has your number saved can still message you on WhatsApp directly outside those hours
- This is a set of direct links to your existing profiles and messaging apps, not an embedded live-chat widget
- No click analytics or conversion dashboard in this version
- Custom CSS injection was removed in version 1.1.1 to comply with WordPress.org guidelines; further style changes require child-theme or snippet CSS
Quick Setup
- Upload the plugin folder to /wp-content/plugins/, or install through the Plugins screen directly.
- Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ screen in WordPress.
- Go to Settings > Socials Floating, add your social links, and choose a background color and position.
- Optionally enable Business Hours, set your weekly schedule, and choose how direct-contact icons behave outside those hours.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do the Business Hours work?
Enable Business Hours in Settings, select your timezone, then define when you’re open for each day of the week. Choose which icons are affected — for example, hide WhatsApp but leave Facebook visible — and how they should appear when offline: dimmed, hidden, or with a red “Closed” badge.
Do I need to enter the full URL for WhatsApp or Telegram?
No. Enter your phone number for WhatsApp or Zalo, or your username for Telegram or Messenger, and the plugin generates the correct wa.me/t.me links automatically.
How do I reorder the icons?
Drag the ☰ handle next to any social network on the settings page to reorder them exactly how you want them to appear on the frontend.
